DopaPlus is a vegetarian capsule formula from Pure Encapsulations, part of their PureSYNAPSE® product line designed to support mood, cognition, and behavioral health. It combines dopamine precursors, synergistic cofactors, and botanical extracts to support daily mental function and sharpness.
L-Tyrosine (free-form) and Velvet bean (Mucuna pruriens) extract (seed), standardized to contain 15% L-DOPA, serve as the primary dopamine precursors in the formula. Rhodiola (Rhodiola rosea) extract (root), standardized to contain 3% total rosavins and 1% salidroside, supports healthy dopamine stability and reuptake. Grape (Vitis vinifera) extract (seed), standardized to contain 92% polyphenols, and Green tea (Camellia sinensis) extract (leaf), standardized to contain 90% total tea catechins and 70% EGCG, provide polyphenols that support neuronal health and function.
The formula also supplies the key cofactors Vitamin B6 (as pyridoxal 5' phosphate, the activated B6 form), Folate (as Metafolin®, L-5-MTHF), and Zinc (as zinc picolinate) to support optimal serum levels of zinc and folate and promote positive mood. The sole excipient is a vegetarian capsule (cellulose, water). The product is certified gluten-free by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization and is free from GMOs, soy, and dairy. Pure Encapsulations formulates without wheat, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, artificial colors, flavors or sweeteners, coatings or shellacs, unnecessary binders, fillers or preservatives, magnesium stearate, and trans fat or hydrogenated oils.
