What It Is
ADK by DaVinci Labs is a practitioner-grade, single-capsule formula combining three essential fat-soluble vitamins: Vitamin A as Retinyl Palmitate, Vitamin D3 as Cholecalciferol, and Vitamin K2 as MK-7 (Menaquinone-7). Each ingredient is delivered in its most bioavailable and clinically recognized form at a concentrated, high-potency dose appropriate for clients with documented or suspected insufficiency, or those under active practitioner supervision. The formula is vegetarian, gluten-free, soy-free, and non-GMO, with a minimal excipient profile that reflects DaVinci Labs' commitment to formulation integrity.
How It Works
The physiological rationale for combining Vitamins A, D3, and K2 lies in their deeply interconnected roles in calcium metabolism, bone remodeling, and soft tissue protection. Vitamin D3 as Cholecalciferol stimulates intestinal calcium absorption and upregulates calcium-binding proteins, dramatically increasing the amount of calcium available to the body. Without adequate Vitamin K2, however, that calcium must be precisely directed; K2 activates two critical Gla-proteins: osteocalcin, which incorporates calcium into the bone matrix, and Matrix Gla Protein (MGP), which inhibits calcium deposition in arterial walls and soft tissues. The MK-7 form of K2 is particularly advantageous due to its extended plasma half-life and superior extrahepatic tissue distribution compared to shorter-chain menaquinones. Vitamin A as Retinyl Palmitate completes the triad by supporting osteoblast and osteoclast activity for proper bone remodeling, while also modulating immune gene expression through its role as a ligand for retinoid receptors. Together, these three vitamins function as a coordinated system supporting skeletal architecture, cardiovascular calcium regulation, and immune resilience.
When to Use It
ADK is well suited for clients presenting with low bone mineral density, vitamin D insufficiency, or those undergoing evaluation for cardiovascular calcium dysregulation. It is particularly relevant for postmenopausal women, older adults at elevated fracture risk, clients with malabsorption conditions affecting fat-soluble vitamin uptake, or individuals with chronically limited sun exposure. Because this formula delivers 5,000 IU of D3 per capsule, it is intended for use under practitioner guidance with periodic monitoring of serum 25(OH)D levels. Clients on anticoagulant medications, particularly Warfarin, should be assessed carefully prior to initiation given Vitamin K2's interaction with clotting pathways.

Warning: Do not take if pregnant or nursing. If you have a blood-clotting disorder or are taking anticoagulant or anti-platelet medications such as Coumadin (Warfarin), do not take this product without consulting your healthcare practitioner. Individuals supplementing above 50 mcg (2,000 IU) of Vitamin D daily should have serum levels monitored. For use under the supervision of a healthcare practitioner. Keep out of reach of children. Key Ingredients
Vitamin A as Retinyl Palmitate — 1,500 mcg The preformed, immediately bioavailable retinoid form of Vitamin A, bypassing the conversion variability associated with beta-carotene. Supports osteoblast and osteoclast activity for proper bone remodeling and modulates immune gene expression through retinoid receptor pathways.
Vitamin D3 as Cholecalciferol — 125 mcg (5,000 IU) The preferred cholecalciferol form at a clinically meaningful repletion dose. Promotes intestinal calcium absorption, upregulates calcium-binding proteins, and modulates both innate and adaptive immune response.
Vitamin K2 as MK-7 (Menaquinone-7) — 500 mcg The long-chain menaquinone form with superior bioavailability and extended plasma half-life compared to MK-4. Activates osteocalcin to incorporate calcium into bone matrix and activates Matrix Gla Protein to inhibit vascular calcium deposition, supporting both skeletal density and arterial health.
