UltraNutrient is a multivitamin/mineral formula with enhanced support for cardiovascular and liver health, made by Pure Encapsulations. It is formulated as vegetarian capsules and builds on the Nutrient 950 base with the addition of alpha lipoic acid (thioctic acid), Coenzyme Q10, Setria® glutathione (reduced), and standardized botanical extracts of hawthorn, turmeric, milk thistle, and ginger.
The B-vitamin complex uses forms recognized for their bioavailability: riboflavin is provided as vitamin B2 and riboflavin 5' phosphate; vitamin B6 as pyridoxine HCl and pyridoxal 5' phosphate (activated B6); folate as Metafolin® L-5-MTHF; and vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin. Vitamin C is supplied as ascorbyl palmitate (fat-soluble vitamin C), and vitamin D as cholecalciferol (D3). Vitamin E is delivered as d-alpha tocopherol succinate.
Minerals are provided in chelated and organic-acid-bound forms: calcium as calcium citrate/malate, magnesium as magnesium aspartate, zinc as zinc picolinate, selenium as selenomethionine, copper as copper glycinate, manganese as manganese aspartate, chromium as chromium polynicotinate, molybdenum as molybdenum aspartate, potassium as potassium aspartate, boron as boron glycinate, and vanadium as vanadium aspartate.
The botanical extracts are standardized: hawthorn (Crataegus spp.) flower and leaf extract standardized to contain 2% vitexins; turmeric (Curcuma longa) root extract standardized to contain 95% curcuminoids; milk thistle (Silybum marianum) seed extract standardized to contain 80% silymarin; and ginger (Zingiber officinale) root extract standardized to contain 5% gingerols. A proprietary mixed carotenoid blend supplying lutein, lycopene, and zeaxanthin complements the vitamin A provided as beta carotene.
UltraNutrient is formulated for adults seeking broad-spectrum nutritional support and is suitable for use as a daily multi-nutrient foundation. Pure Encapsulations produces this formula free from gluten, GMOs, dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, tree nuts and peanuts, artificial colors, flavors and sweeteners, coating and shellacs, unnecessary binders, fillers and preservatives, magnesium stearate, and trans fat and hydrogenated oils. It is certified gluten-free by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization and is vegetarian.
