Pure Encapsulations Ubiquinol-QH is a softgel supplement delivering Kaneka Ubiquinol™, the active antioxidant form of coenzyme Q10. Ubiquinol carries two additional hydrogen atoms compared to ubiquinone and comprises the majority of the ubiquinone/ubiquinol pool in the plasma of healthy subjects.
Ubiquinol may be especially important for older individuals, individuals who may be experiencing greater levels of oxidative or physical stress, or individuals who appear not to respond to regular CoQ10 supplementation. The formula is available in 100 mg and 200 mg softgel capsules, each containing Kaneka Ubiquinol™ as the sole active ingredient, delivered in a medium-chain triglyceride base with sunflower lecithin.
