Pure Encapsulations PreNatal Nutrients is a multivitamin and mineral complex formulated for pregnancy and lactation. Made by Pure Encapsulations, the formula is gluten-free, Non-GMO, and hypoallergenic, and is delivered in vegetarian capsules.
The formula provides folate as Metafolin® (L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate, L-5-MTHF), the naturally occurring form of folate, to support healthy neural and cellular development of the fetal brain and spinal cord. Iron is supplied as iron glycinate and iodine as potassium iodide to meet increased requirements during pregnancy and lactation. Vitamin D is provided as cholecalciferol (D3), and vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin. Calcium is delivered as di-calcium malate (DimaCal™), and molybdenum as TRAACS® molybdenum glycinate chelate. Choline, as choline bitartrate, is included to support fetal central nervous system development. The formula also contains a proprietary mixed carotenoid blend supplying lutein, lycopene, and zeaxanthin, alongside vitamin A as beta carotene.
PreNatal Nutrients is intended for women of childbearing age, pregnant women, and lactating women. The formula is specially designed based on accepted scientific recommendations for nutrient requirements during pregnancy.
Pure Encapsulations products are free from wheat, soy, dairy, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, gluten, artificial colors, flavors and sweeteners, coatings and shellacs, GMOs, unnecessary binders, fillers and preservatives, magnesium stearate, and trans fat and hydrogenated oils.
