ACTIVE PRINCIPLES
ECHINACEA An herbal plant with antioxidant, bacteriostatic, and immunostimulating action, useful in strengthening the immune system.
ANDROGRAPHIS The antibacterial and antiviral properties strengthen the body’s defenses by reducing flu symptoms and inflammation.
ASTRAGALUS As an immune tonic, astragalus (Astragalus membranaceus) is considered an adaptogen, providing deeper immunesystem support. There have been many clinical studies showing how astragalus not only boosts the immune system, but also encourages an increase in immune cells (T-cells, natural killer cells, macrophages, immunoglobulin) activity, production, and function. Astragalus appears to help trigger immune cells from a resting state into heightened activity.
ICELAND MOSS Its activity is related both to the fluidifying action of polysaccharides, to the antibiotic action that is demonstrated in vitro from lichen acids, in particular usnic acid. It has recently been demonstrated as an immune modulation action.
ESSENTIAL OILS The essential oils of thyme, oregano, and cinnamon carry out a synergistic antiseptic and balsamic actions. MYRRH It inhibits prostaglandin synthesis, by reducing the symptoms of inflammation.
