Pure Encapsulations Homocysteine Factors is a vegetarian capsule formula combining activated vitamin B6 (as pyridoxal 5'-phosphate), folate (as Metafolin®, L-5-MTHF), vitamin B12 (as methylcobalamin), and trimethylglycine (anhydrous betaine), formulated to support healthy homocysteine levels and cardiovascular health.
Folate is delivered as Metafolin®, the branded form of L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate (L-5-MTHF). Vitamin B6 is provided as pyridoxal 5'-phosphate, the activated form of B6. Vitamin B12 is supplied as methylcobalamin. Trimethylglycine is included in its anhydrous betaine form. Clinical studies show that folate, vitamin B12, and vitamin B6 are vital in the metabolism of homocysteine.
Pure Encapsulations produces this formula as a gluten-free, non-GMO, soy-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and vegan supplement. The product is certified gluten-free by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization (GFCO) and is free from GMOs.

Vitamin B6 (as pyridoxal 5'-phosphate) — serves as a cofactor for enzymatic reactions that support healthy homocysteine metabolism.
Folate (as Metafolin®, L-5-MTHF) — supports the normal enzymatic conversion of homocysteine back to methionine, promoting healthy homocysteine levels.
Vitamin B12 (as methylcobalamin) — works alongside folate as a required cofactor for the enzyme that supports conversion of homocysteine to methionine.
Trimethylglycine (anhydrous betaine) — functions as a methyl donor to support an alternative pathway for healthy homocysteine metabolism.
