Gymnema (Gymnema sylvestre) extract derived from the leaf is a key botanical in this formula; the leaves of Gymnema sylvestre have been used for over 2,000 years in India, and the extract supports the function of insulin-producing cells of the pancreas. Asian ginseng (Panax ginseng) extract from the root, standardized to contain 5% ginsenosides, and Eleuthero (Eleutherococcus senticosus) extract from the root, standardized to contain 0.8% eleutherosides, are both adaptogens included to promote healthy glucose balance.
