DIGESTXYM™ is a full-spectrum digestive enzyme supplement from U.S. Enzymes, formulated as a vegetable cellulose capsule. Each capsule delivers a 330 mg Enzyme Blend of 23 plant-based enzymes organized across four functional groups — protein digestion, carbohydrate digestion, fat digestion, and free-radical digestion — in a proprietary mineral base.
For protein digestion, the formula includes Protease I, Protease II, Protease III, Acid Stable Protease, Peptidase, Peptidase S, Bromelain, and Papain. Carbohydrate-digesting enzymes include Amylase, Cellulase, Lactase, Xylanase, Invertase, Hemicellulase, Malt Diastase, Alpha Galactosidase, Glucoamylase, Pectinase, Beta Glucanase, and Phytase. Lipase I and Lipase II support fat digestion, and Catalase supports free-radical digestion.
Each capsule also contains a 166 mg Proprietary AstraZyme® Blend — a registered trademark of ERCC, Inc. — composed of Protease I, Astragalus Root Extract (Astragalus membranaceus), Ginseng Root Extract (Panax notoginseng), Protease II, and a Mineral (as sodium calcium aluminosilicate). AstraZyme® assists protein digestion and supports the absorption of peptides and amino acids.
