Boluoke® is a research-based supplement containing Lumbrokinase, an enzyme derived from earthworms, manufactured by Canada RNA Biochemical Inc. in Canada. It is available in acid-resistant capsules formulated to be taken on an empty stomach.
Lumbrokinase is a fibrinolytic enzyme — a class of enzymes that acts on fibrin, a protein involved in the formation of clots both inside blood vessels and as scabs on the skin. Boluoke® supports the body in keeping the coagulation system in a more balanced state and is described by the manufacturer as a research-based supplement for supporting healthy circulation.
Boluoke® is the only lumbrokinase whose enzymatic strength is standardized. The manufacturer notes that other lumbrokinase products on the market often cite Boluoke®'s credentials and research without disclosing their own enzymatic strength. Because lumbrokinase is a preparation containing multiple enzyme fractions, extraction and purification methods determine the final composition of those fractions; different products therefore have different lumbrokinase compositions and cannot be considered equivalent. The manufacturer also notes that Boluoke® does not significantly affect blood tests such as prothrombin time (PT) or activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT), while other lumbrokinase products may affect those results.
