Athletic Nutrients is a complete, highly bioavailable multivitamin, multi-mineral and trace element supplement made by Pure Encapsulations and designed for physically active individuals and athletes ages 18 and up.
The formula combines bioavailable mineral chelates, activated vitamins, antioxidants and pH-balanced creatine to support energy and endurance, and help lessen muscle fatigue. Potassium, calcium and magnesium are included to support healthy muscle function. Copper, manganese, selenium and zinc help maintain healthy tendons, ligaments and joints.
The formula features three proprietary complexes. The EnergizeATP Factors complex includes Kre-Alkalyn® (pH-balanced creatine monohydrate), coenzyme Q10 and alpha ketoglutarate. The MuscleRestore Complex provides NAC (N-acetyl-l-cysteine, derived from duck feather), alpha lipoic acid and l-carnosine to support muscle recovery and comfort. The PowerProtect Antioxidants complex includes PowerGrape® extract (derived from Vitis vinifera whole fruit, standardized to 85% total polyphenols), a superfruit antioxidant blend from acerola, camu camu, quercetin, açai, mangosteen and green coffee concentrate, and decaffeinated green tea extract (Camellia sinensis leaf, standardized to 70% epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG)).
Folate is provided as Metafolin® L-5-MTHF, the naturally occurring, universally metabolized form of folate. Vitamin B12 is supplied as methylcobalamin. Vitamins and minerals are provided in activated and chelated forms. The mixed carotenoid profile is sourced from Blakeslea trispora (beta carotene), natural tomato concentrate (lycopene), marigold flower extract (lutein) and synthetic zeaxanthin.
