ACTIVE PRINCIPLES
LICORICE The active ingredient of licorice is Glycyrrhizin, it has anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic action capable of reducing cutaneous reaction linked to allergies.
PLANTAIN A herbal plant that has an antiphlogistic action, due to the presence of iridoid glucosides also antiallergic due in particular to ‘aucubine which is immunomodulatory that is capable to rebalance various types of immuno-globulins levels.
CHAMOMILE Chamomile has antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory effect. Furthermore chamomile also reduces the symptoms of itching often associated with skin allergies.
NETTLE The most important actions in case of allergies are the antiinflammatory activity and antiallergic action.
MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) Sulfurous organic compound naturally present in animals, including humans. Among its many sulfur functions, which is to reduce the symptoms of allergic rhinitis by increasing the organism natural energy caused by allergies.
QUERCETIN Common flavonoid found in many plant species. It exerts an antiphlogistic action by inhibiting the release of inflammatory, antiinflammatory and antiallergic mediators thanks to the release of histamine from mast cells and that of basophils.
VITAMIN C In allergic reactions Vitamin C prevents excretion of histamine and increases detoxification processes, thanks to its powerful antioxidant action. The levels of histamine, in fact, greatly increases when those of ascorbic acid decreases.
VITAMIN B5 Involved in many biological reactions, pantothenic acid renders the adrenal gland more sensitive to ACTH and consequently it increases the production of glucocorticoids, of which significantly that of the corticosterone, important for their anti-inflammatory action.
