ACTIVE PRINCIPLES
BURDOCK A depurative plant suitable to facilitate drainage through hepatic enhancement of bile secretion, diuresis, intestinal transit, the secretion of sweat glands and in particular, at the cutaneous level, through the regulation of sebaceous secretion.
HOREHOUND Suitable plant for drainage thanks to the diuretic action with a stimulating action of the secretions biliarie accompanied by a slight laxative action.
WATERCRESS A drainage plant rich in antioxidants, it exerts a detoxifying action and neutralizing free radicals. It contains numerous vitamins and minerals giving the diuretic and mineralizing action.
PLANTAIN Known for its antiphlogistic and anti-inflammatory activity, the plant exerts a slight diuretic and draining action. It has been added to the composition because it is capable of exerting an emollient and slightly laxative effect due to the presence of mucilage.
BARBERRY A stimulating plant that activates hepatic and biliary activity. In particular, its active ingredients act at the level of the modulating smooth muscle motility.
SHEPHERD’S PURSE Thanks to the presence of mercaptan compounds and for the isothiocyanates it exerts a detoxifying by countering the effects of free radicals.
GENTIAN A plant having a double effect on the digestive system: induces a greater gastric secretion favoring the primary digestive process and promote the production of bile, eliminating the slag.
SARSAPARILLA A plant having a purifying, sudorific and diuretic effect. The saponins contained in the rhizome help eliminate nitrogenous waste.
FUMITORY Choleretic action, or regulating the flow of bile, also associates an antispasmodic action and relaxing the smooth muscle, encouraging proper motility of the excretory organs.
